Project Details

This project was the second part of an extensive overhaul of treatment processes to a century old facility with a capacity of over 300MGD.  The work under this contract includes:  Replacement of the Peak Flow Basin C concrete liner including demolition, excavation and hauloff, construct underdrain improvements, basin access road improvements, plugging of the Basin C to A.1 interconnect, and all associated improvements; Installation of scum baffle at Peak Flow Basin B.2 to C spillway; Partial  or complete removal of the Mitigation Cell (future Peak Flow Basin D) debris pile including all associated haul off costs and plant levee and Basin berm roadway repairs; Replacement of the existing Influent Pump Station Non-Potable Water Booster Pump Station seal water piping and associated piping/electrical/instrumentation improvements for the existing six (6) VTSH pumps; Construct slope improvements at the Stormwater Pond and site drainage channel; Removal/demolition of the existing sluice gate/temporary bulkhead plate at Gate Structure No. 2 and replacement with new slide gate and actuator.
