Work under this contract included modifications to existing facilities regarding Site Civil and Yard Piping

Sedimentation Basin Improvements – demolition and/or salvage of metal access walkways, new drive motors, and miscellaneous piping; concrete demolition, excavation, backfill, and compaction for center piers; concrete floor modifications including drain covers; sludge piping including fittings, restrained joints, connections, supports, and cleanouts; tube settler support modifications; concrete access walkways; basin access ladders; clarifier mechanisms including center columns, rake arms, access walkways, platforms, drives, and other items in the clarifier mechanism manufacturer’s scope of supply; access stairs; repair and patching of impacted concrete; testing; and/or training.

Sludge Valve Vault Construction – excavation, backfill, and compaction; dewatering; vertical shoring; concrete walls, floors with trench drains and sumps, and footings; access ladders; handrail; access walkways; sludge piping including valves, fittings, restrained joints, connections, supports, and electric motor actuators; vent piping and fittings; grinder sump pumps; sump pump drain piping including valves, fittings, connections, and supports; testing; and/or training.

Gravity Thickener Pump Station Improvements – demolition and/or salvage of pumps, guide rails, piping, valves, fittings, jib crane, metal grating, electrical items, and instrumentation items; concrete demolition to connect the two pump station chambers; influent sludge valve including stem extension and stem guides; sludge pumps including guide rails, safety chains, and other item in the manufacturer scope of supply; pump discharge piping including valves, fittings, restrained joints, connections, insulation, and supports; and metal grating modifications.

All Electrical and Instrumentation Controls modifications required.
