The work under this contract includes the installations and modifications necessary to accommodate additional equipment to allow additional plant volume, including
- Parallel 24-inch diameter raw water pipelines;
- 36-inch diameter raw water pipeline;
- Foundation preparation and soil pre-swelling for the Flocculation/Sedimentation Basins;
- Two (2) flocculation/sedimentation basins with flocculators, inclined plate settlers and launders, and traveling sludge collection system;
- One (1) pre-membrane strainer with piping, and valves;
- Six (6) low-pressure membrane units with piping, valves, instrumentation;
- One (1) air compressor and accumulator tank with piping, valves, and instrumentation;
- One (1) blower with piping, valves, and instrumentation;
- One (1) low-pressure membrane clean-in-place pre-heat system;
- One (1) on-site sodium hypochlorite generation system with piping, valves, support systems, and instrumentation;
- One (1) chlorine dioxide generator with piping and valves
- One (1) membrane backwash equalization basin and recycle pump station with piping, valves, and instrumentation;
- One (1) recycle pump station flow meter vault;
- Chemical storage and feed improvements;
- Yard piping; and
- Electrical and instrumentation items to support the above facilities.
