The work involved construction of a new sludge holding tank, cake storage facility, solids dewatering building with centrifuges, operations building, paving, grading, and retaining walls, and modifications to the main incoming plant power with associated electrical, instrumentation, and controls. Rehabilitation included the gravity belt thickener building, including modifications to the metal building, TWAS pumps, and odor control duct; the existing primary sludge pump station, including modifications to the building, removal of existing primary sludge feed pumps, removal of existing primary sludge recirculation pumps, and modification to the HVAC units. Demolition included the four aerobic digesters, the primary sludge holding tank, the existing solids operation building, and the belt filter press building.
