Project Details

This project was one section of a five total 46 mile pipeline bringing water from Lake Texoma to the Wylie Water Treatment Plant.  Segment C consisted of the installation of 46,000LF of 84” pipe.  The construction of the Lake Texoma Outfall to Wylie WTP Raw Water Pipeline allows NTMWD to transport water from Lake Texoma by way of pipeline directly to the Wylie WTP for treatment. This pipeline restored the Texoma supply, 28% of NTMWD’s total raw water supply, while minimizing the spread of zebra mussels.  BAR Constructors was the first of the four contractors installing this line to complete and be ready to test their pipeline segment.
